Boston Arthur Murray Dance Studio

Located right in the heart of America’s historic city, our Boston studio is right in the center of it all. You can find us at the Park Plaza Hotel, where we are just minutes away from great restaurants, shopping and everything the city has to offer. Take a lesson here and the atmosphere will capture you.

Don’t be deceived by the fact that Boston is not as big as other U.S. cities like New York and Chicago. You’d be surprised at the amount of culture and history this gem holds.

The stunning architecture and streets lined with cobblestones are unlike any other. A walk in the public gardens and Boston Common is a must.

If you’re looking to shop, be sure to hit up Newbury Street. Lined with great shops and restaurants, Newbury takes luxury to a new level. Our studio is just a short walk away.

A trip wouldn’t be complete without stopping at Faneuil Hall. If you want to witness history itself, this is the place to go. You’ll also find a wide array of shops and restaurants and Quincy Market is full of endless food choices.

If you’re looking for something really touristy to-do, a “Duck Tour” is a must. These amphibious vehicles were once used in World War II and provide a fun and unique way to see the city and all its points of interest. The Freedom Trail is another great way to see the historic sites of the city.

While Boston is known for its history, it has become a prime location for higher education throughout the U.S. There are over 20 universities and colleges in the Boston-area alone. To name a few: Boston University, Boston College, Northeastern University, Simmons College and Emmanuel College attract high school graduates from all over the country every year.

Just across the Charles River in neighboring Cambridge are Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). These higher education establishments are ranked at the top among universities throughout the country.

Boston is strong in the arts. While most people think Broadway or the Met when it comes to art, you’d be surprised what you will find here. Art can be found in all forms in the city. Whether it’s a trip to Symphony Hall to see the Boston Symphony Orchestra or the famous Boston Pops, or a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts, you’ll find the city has something to offer for everyone. The Orpheum and the Wang Theatres are always hosting a wide variety of popular shows.

Students of the arts come to Boston because of the many opportunities it has to offer. Schools like Emerson College, Berklee College of Music, the New England Conservatory and Massachusetts College of Art are all highly competitive for students who wish to study dance, music, painting, journalism and other forms of art.

Aside from education, the city is a medical haven. Boston is home to some of the country’s top hospitals like Dana Farber, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital and Children’s Hospital. Doctors from all over the world come to the city to practice medicine.

As you can see, we’re in the center of it all. So come down to the city, take a lesson and see all that there is to offer. You won’t de disappointed. From the minute you arrive at our location at the Park Plaza Hotel you’ll want to dive right in.
